The Intrepid Herbivores is a TV show that takes the viewer around the world to explore delicious vegetarian and vegan food.
Our pilot episode was filmed in 2011 in Thailand and is currently being pitched to media outlets.

ABOUT SADIE: With a background in comedy and theatre arts, Sadie is primed to host this show. Her greatest interests are eating and cooking, traveling and learning languages, and performing in funny scenarios. A more ideal job than this she can’t quite imagine! Sadie has spent time visiting and studying the local languages in Italy, Quebec and Argentina, and has traveled via backpack to almost every populated continent (still looking forward to Australia!). Her entertainment credits include originating the nationally touring educational hit “Calculus: The Musical!” She has been vegetarian since the approximate age of 12 (in the early ’90s) and committed to veganism in 2010.
Joe Bourguignon is your fearless and snack-loving cameraman.
ABOUT JOE: Inspired by parents to travel the world at a young age by living abroad, Joe has been all over: Europe, Africa, Asia, South America, and too many other places to be interesting to list. He has a degree in Film and began working in the film industry in San Francisco, followed by a progression into his main passion, Documentary Film. He has filmed a few feature length projects along with many smaller shorts, some of which have gotten awards. He went vegan recently (~2009) and has been enjoying delicious healthy food ever since. If you want to get on his good side, bring him something spicy!
Jon Meyer and Rachel Sharkeye are your audacious and epicurean editors.
ABOUT JON and RACHEL: Jon Meyer has spent the better part of his life making movies. As an expert director of photography and editor, he is one of the busiest and most sought-after filmmakers-for-hire in Portland. His feature films include The Corners, The Innocent, and Gabby’s Wish. He also created, co-wrote and directed the ever-popular web series The Free Box, viewed all over the world. Rachel Sharkeye’s growing involvement in the film community has reaped many notable accomplishments. She created, co-wrote and starred in the award-winning web series Suck My Box, produced the SAG short film “Engage”, and acted as assistant camera on several music videos, films, and commercials. She is also a published author and continues to explore her talent in producing, modeling, and acting.
Kirsten Sevig Desjardins designed that adorable little dinosaur logo. She’s a working graphic designer and we can put you in touch with her if you’d like to apply her quirky style to something!
